Why publish this newsletter?
Today in the print media and television there are restraints on space and time limiting what is being spoken by our elected officials. As the adage goes if it bleeds it leads it will be front and center. Most times this is not the case and the information we need to know about is pushed to back of the paper, limited to a 15 second soundbite or considered not newsworthy. The purpose of this newsletter is to give our elected Republican officials a place to talk about an issue they think is important without limiting them. The primary rule is that they can not speak ill of anybody, but to focus on the issue.
This site will also give people the chance to find out information from different websites to educate themselves on political issues from people who are known around the country. As this newsletter grows I hope you will forward this website to friends and family. So they can also read the information for themselves, and let people know what is going on in our community.
This is the first time we are doing our newsletter in this format and we may need a little tweeking and comments are welcome.
